Snapchat has been my go-to tool for getting laid since it came out when I was still in college.

I have it cause all my friends are on it but it truly is a waste of time. I delete it every now and then for a period of weeks but will relapse.

I'm in my early 20s so maybe I belong to the wrong generation, but I feel that social media is just making people dumber and more shallow. IMO people who use it too much are just attention whores seeking validation.

I stopped understanding things after ICQ. I've gotten into the habit of just calling people lately. It's old school and somehow annoys the hell out of the other party. Remember those 5 hour long phone conversions we had back in the day without distortion or worrying about your battery dying? Fuck that, who wants a pen pal from Canada? I encounter first to miss something as some party invitations miss me because I wasnt part of the new (a)social media platforms. Meanwhile I dont care any longer. I got phone and a mailaccount. If thats too much work for the friends, they are not real.

For me Personally it's a easier way to send someone a message by speaking vs typing. I'm a engaged man of 3yrs,dating 8, so nudes from my fiance and other girls don't happen, it's more of sending snapchat to friends by saying what's up, what are you up too and such. If I recall right my minutes usage has gone down from 180mins a month to about 80mins since snapchat was installed on my phone. Really have no need to call anyone unless it's important.
