You could make the argument that the Corvette in and of itself is provocation to drive quickly. You'd need a damn good lawyer to pull it off, but it could just maybe possibly potentially work.

Two of the craziest undercovers I've seen are a jacked up Silverado on about 35s and a VW bug. The Silverado came flying up behind me and I was too confused to understand what was going on. Luckily he was just backup for a cop that had already pulled someone over up ahead. The VW passed me going the opposite way on a street and every car around me was quite confused. Go figure...

all these days i would just worry about the crown vic's with tinted windows
but now have to watch all american cars.
I have started to see some dodge chargers but none of undercover.

the most undercovers in highway are crown vics.
in the city its explorer, 300c

In Sunrise, FL i've seen someone get pulled over by a black Toyota Supra. It was pretty crazy to see him fly by with flashing lights in the window.

From what I recall, budget cuts in Honolulu caused some officers to use their personal vehicles instead of those issued by the state.

The last time I visited the island I saw a G35 and an Accord parked in front of the station with headlights on the roofs.

nope, only crown victoria's here. . . and they're harldily "under cover" haha, with their tell tale side lights, "CA EXEMPT" plates, plethora of antennas, and row of lights along the back window.

The PD I support has a seized older black Celica, no plates, no lights, no antenna, sitting out in the back lot. There are times when officers have messed with local CHP, varying speeds so CHP couldn't see the lack of plates or anything, until CHP finally pulled them over and they flashed the badge.

Undercover cars I've seen:

Sierra Vista, AZ: Blue Mustang GT, Green Mustang GT (both 99-04) Chevy Malibu, lifted dodge Ram, 90's Jeep Cherokee (got me).

Phoenix, AZ: Lifted Diesel Silverado (white)

West Texas: Saw a heavily Modded 05+ Mustang GT w/body kit, rims, tint, and tons of other stuff along with an unmarked Ford Focus hatch - both had some guy pulled over.

I'm in law enforcement myself (I won't say what agency) and sometimes I think it would be fun to put some lights in my car and use it but I don't want to wreck it or drive it through a dirt and cactus covered field in a pursuit.
