Victory actually has multiple IPA's. There is also a Hop Wallop, and as the name would imply, his hoppier that the regular Hop Devil.

Here is a list of their current brews: http://www.victorybeer.com/Beers/Beers.htm

It's the only kind of beer I like, but I'm not a big beer drinker. The only reason I like beer is because it's cheap, and you can drink 6 cans and be completely wasted for the rest of the night.

Except my old buddie in college...he'd drink like 20 cans and still said he didn't even feel buzzed...

When I feel like getting drunk, it's captain and coke, sapphire and tonic, absolut and orange juice, or jaeger-bombs all the way

When out: Draught Guinness, poured correctly. Been drinking it for almost 30 years. Dog is named Guinness

At home: Keg is usually Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. In the Winter it is Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. Currently keg is being flushed with Smithwicks (popular with beer newbs and female guests but otherwise crap).

Bar fridge staples (in there right now):
Newcastle Brown
Old Speckled Hen
Abbot Ale
Boddingtons
Fullers ESB
Youngs Special
Bigfoot Ale
DogFish 90 minute IPA
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Nugget Nectar
Something by Magic Hat - forget which one.

Elsewhere in the house: Coors Light for guests who don't know better.

BTW, the reason it is called 60 minute IPA - when the brewer first made a prototype batch, he wanted the wort to be continually hopped for the full 60 minutes. Without going into too much detail, this is not usual. He got one of those old vibrating football games (Electronic Football??) and used it to continually vibrate the hops into the brew for an hour. I assume the 90 min which is a fave of mine was done in a similar manner.

Have you had the 120 Minute?

The 90 is one of my all-time favorite beers.

Have you been out to the Dogfish Head brewhouse in Gaithersburg?

I doubt you ever will see it, but if you ever do, give Magic Hat HI.P.A. a shot. It's really hoppy, but they seem to have put a mellow kind of hop zing to it. Really nicely done.

BTW, I didn't realize there was a 120 minute Dogfish Head. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for it, or ask my local store if they can get any. I'll bet it'll taste like you have to chew it.

I don't think they bottle it. Keg only at the brewpub and brewhouse.

BTW, we can find Magic Hat down here if we look hard enough. I've had the IPA.

It's ah very nice.

Had some last week. There is a new 'mega' liquor store that just opened near me and I deceided to take a look. They had an IPA sampler table set up and HIPA was one of them.

I nabbed a 6 pack.

What is the similarity between Coors Light and making love in a kayak? Answer: Both are f-ing close to water.

And I thought Killians was just Coors Light with red food dye.
