Seems cool to me.

If you really dislike it you can just take it off.

These were my same thoughts. I like the subtle difference that mostly only other ///M owners would notice.

Badging has no other purpose than letting unsecure people feel how great they are whilst squeezing as much money as possible out of them.

Car manufacturers love it!

Remember when everyone felt the need to badge their car with 24-valve this, DOHC that?

^True, thats badging as well but at least that says something about the mechanics used in the car/engine.
But the word 'competition' is a total nonsense word on the back of a car.

Yeah it's a nice subtle touch. Not the least bit tacky IMO.

I'm rather indifferent to it. It doesn't look tacky but I don't think such a emblem is necessary.

I voted "Yes" in that I like it more than not. I'd rather have this small emblem than some huge COMPETITION letters across the rear trunk or so...

From far away, the emblem looks like a black underline. Reminds me of the underline on the Tesla cars with the ludicrous speed launch option - a subtle reminder that it's not a regular model car.

It's small enough to be unobjectionable and tasteful. If they had plastered it all over the interior, the side skirts, wheels, or whatever else, then I would definitely hate it. I guess it comes down to the fact that the car is called the M2 Competition, whereas in the past it was just an option package on the existing car (e.g. an E92 M3 with the Competition Package was still just called an M3).

GM was notorious for this in the 90s and early 2000s with their ABS, "high output", etc. badges all over the car.

Typeface paired with logo makes it look like it's a brand for men's razors.

It looks cleaner and less cluttered without it. Besides, a "competition" car shouldn't force driver to listen to ASD and starts the car in grandma Comfort mode.

I wouldn't take it off... but I wouldn't put it on if I had an older ZCP.
