Indeed. Its not looking good on my bike. Seems the engine ECU may have shit the bed.

Wanna guess at how long it takes to get obscure Italian bike parts from Italy in the middle of pandemic that's shut down all of Italy? LOL. I'll be lucky to have the thing up and running by winter!

The slide pins were in great shape. No rust and coated in anti-seize. So I suspect it's just 30 years of poor maintenance, humid Japanese environment, and the caliper piston just locked up in the bore. That's my guess anyway.
