This is really disappointing. Picking up a new Bimmer in Germany was on the bucket list for me. Already did the Performance Center delivery once and it was amazing. Looks like that might be the only option moving forward.

This really sucks!
I am so glad I got to do it before they stopped. I hope its only temporary because its an awesome experience. At least Porsche is still doing it, I will have to hit them before they stop too.

BMW becoming more boring with every passing day. Extremely pissed I couldn't get enough vacation time for euro delivery.

FUCK. I really hope this is temporary and COVID related. I thought they had done this some time in the last few years too (temporarily), or maybe it was just rumoured to be canceled?
Either way I really hope they bring this back. I was literally planning to do this every 2-3 years for the foreseeable future. It was just the best time. Ugh...

Very disappointing! Was considering the next gen M3 as a practical family hauler (for when we have kids) to pair nicely with the M2. Glad I did ED and PCD. Was the best experience ever. Really hoping they bring it back!

Not cool BMW!!!
Although I'm glad I did my first and only one in summer of 2018 but I really wanted to do another one in the future since it was an absolute blast!!!
I'm also disappointed that many forum members won't get the chance to experience it!

I suspect this decision wasn't easy for BMW. The marketing value of ED program has been literally immeasurable. Yet cost reduction goals combined with reduced demand and Covid-19 concerns became more important.

Sucks. I wonder if Porsche will follow. Will have to go scoop up a Gt4 via Euro Delivery while still possible.

I had plans to take my family on the next one. They are so tired of me always talking about how awesome that experience was. This sucks Bmw!

This was back in 2007, before the Welt. After 8 European Deliveries I will miss my European trips with a brand new BMW.
Very sad day. |

My question is why would I chose a BMW going forward? Other brands drive better, look better (subjective), etc etc... and now this. Terrible. Porsche and Mercedes are gonna be where it's. Honestly I was considering those 2 going forward anyway. |

Happy I got to do ED a few years ago with my dads' 2015 550i xDrive. Couldn't have been more pleased with the experience and sad to see it go (hopefully temporarily for USA).

After experiencing ED twice in 2010 and 2016, it was the main thing I was sorry to lose when we moved on to other brands. Thanks to BMW, it'll now be easier for me to stay away from its cars in the future.

Wow. This is absolutely huge for some of us. Maybe only a small group of consumers, but extremely disappointing.
First off, I totally understand how companies have to make tough, disappointing decisions in tough times. Can't really blame them. But man, this is a big reason not to go BMW in the future. Maybe not for most customers - so it makes financial sense to cancel it - but for some of us here, it is. Add this factor (which I give them a pass on) to their inability to offer a product that's compelling to me (which I don't give them a pass on)...well the appeal of the brand keeps shrinking |
