Agreed. But could also see him sign a short term deal with LAD to hit market when it improves. Problem is he will he older then.

He should have taken the $300M Sox offered. I am leery of him long term due to his size. Great player but 8-10 years is too long.

Hopefully he stays in LA.

With a short season, players can’t afford to find themselves in a long term slump. Especially those on contract years. With a new CBA coming after next year. Owners, and the Union I feel are going to be far apart at the table.

As a Yankee fan, I agree. Betts is a great player.
