Yea, my gf just went there for vacation. She was at Ha Long's Bay. I saw the pics, seem to be really nice. Have you been there Crimson92?

^ Ha Long Bay is where they filmed that scene in Tomorrow Never Die. It's a very cool place. Nha Trang is nice too with all the beaches and scenery.

I didnt see all the nice touristy areas. Wish I would have.. probably would have changed my opinion. From what I saw in Saigon and Da Nang... its bad.. crossing the street is like gambling with ur life...

There are some pretty nature areas but I agree with what you said before. Most of the country I found to be a corrupt dump. You see people so poor you want to cry, then there's that corrupt SOB politician or gangster living the high life. I've seen the good and bad, the good you try to enjoy but you will not forget the bad in your lifetime.

I hear you. I have yet to been back there. Not sure how the place would be right now. I sure hope its all changed for the better, but a good part of me know that is just wishful thinking.
