I don't watch any of these with my husband around. He absolutely won't watch and if he's in the room he's making annoying comments. He's going out of town this weekend and I'm so excited. I get to do a little binge watching. I ate lunch at home yesterday & watched a show but other than that I haven't watched TV in over 2 weeks.

Selling Sunset and Grey’s Anatomy. Never watched an episode of either until the ex gf had it on pretty much 24/7. Found myself saying things like “I hate “such and such” because she’s such a bitch”. Stopped watching both shows for a while now though.

Making annoying comments is how we protest. We figure if our comments annoy you enough, you'll change the channel. It also proves a worth-while means of entertaining ourselves during.

Sadly, I try to pay the same respect to the girlfriend when we are watching TV together. I try not make her watch Man Stuff if possible.

OH! I just remembered a stupid show I like. Most Expensivest on Vice w/ 2 Chainz. It's awkward, it's stupid, the dialogue is terrible, but there is something about the format of the show, mixed in with people being uncomfortable about how high 2 Chainz is, that's just funny to watch....plus you get to see some cool expensive ass stuff.

Yeah but her husband is an idiot, which means she's an idiot to be with him. That just ruins her for me. I mean, not that I've ever watched that show.

I sometimes watch Shipping Wars for background noise. Same format and same reasoning behind watching, I'm sure for everyone that watches.

Thankfully, my wife will watch my guy shows and by guy shows I mean TMZ, and Man Vs Fire, Carnival Eats, Mans greatest Food.
If something of hers comes on that's lame, the ole Ipad solves that dilemma

I'm only a little embarrassed to admit I watched 11 seasons of Trailer Park Boys. It's like a train wreck, I don't want to like watching it, but I do.

I haven't started this season of Jersey. NY was ok last season. They act all high and mighty but their outfit choices are terrible. I like when they actually pull the sticks out of their ass and let loose.

I love boats so like Below Deck for the same reason. The locations are stunning and added a few to my travel list.

Oak Island

It is really terrible, so predictable - to the point of being a running joke in our house.

About 14 years ago I was out prospecting for land to build a wind farm on and toured some property with an oil/gas guy named Marty Lagina. As we got to know each other better, he asked if I knew anything about Oak Island and the treasure supposedly buried there. I had a vague memory from reading the same article in Readers Digest that they mention in the series. But I passed on any further involvement.

So when the show came on, I had to watch to see what crazy adventures Marty was into. And I’ve stayed with it.

Also watched the first episode of the new Tim Allen series and thought it really sucked. Watched the third I think and it was much better, so maybe that one will be worth watching now and then.

Jeopardy is getting to the point where I’m embarrassed to say I watch it, too.

It's such a weird and funny show. Very unique. Having said that, I may not tell people I watch it either unless they're close friends. Lol.

Another thing, why do women like watching so much conflict? So many of their shows are women yelling at women, endless arguing? Why? We argue enough as it is, why the hell you wanna watch more?

They probably feel good knowing they're not the only ones doing it.

I find that times are now different than before. What I mean, I use to watch the clock for a specific time to when a show starts and sit down and enjoy it. Now a days, I turn on the TV and I default to either youtube videos or Netflix. Maybe I need more structure in my life to be able to commit to a set time and/or show. And yes, I realize that TV shows can be streamed at anytime...but that kinda also kills it. Never used to be able to sit down and binge watch a full season of say Ozark, Good Girls, Prison Break and such.

Wild 'N Out might be my one "questionable" show but Justina is just FIRE! Shared this show with a co-worker that we swap Netflix titles and she called me ghetto...but then a few days later....now she loves the show.

My husband asks me the same thing. It's interesting because you watch these people who have everything & are still f'ed up. Honestly, it stresses me out a little now where it didn't before. It's also mindless tv.
