Offering individual colors for the 1 and 2 series seems like a strange topic to roast BMW.

The take rate on these will be so low (in the U.S. at least) it's really no big deal whether or not they offer Individual colors on 1 and 2 Series. It's not like we'll see them all over the place.

I feel absolutely nothing for these models, regardless of which colour you can order them in.

Sadly I’m saying this for just about all new BMW’s now. I’m pinning all my hopes on the new 2er/M2 at the moment.

My only real qualm with the FWD/Mini-based chassis is that the 1er is based off of that. If the 1er stayed FR-based that would have been fine. It was special in that it was the only FR "hot hatch" really anywhere. Leave the Mini-based cars to the X1/X2/3er.

Bimmerpost has the positive only snowflake mentality these days. It’s a shame as it’s a damn good forum but we should be able to say what we think weather it’s good or bad.

No they aren't banning posters for not praising. It's the posters that are over the top and beating a dead horse that are getting disciplined. We are all adults here and can handle opinions. What gets tiresome is the constant negativity from some.

I don't think anyone is roasting BMW for offering individual colors.... it's the 1/2 series itself they are roasting BMW for, color doesn't matter.
