How about PSG with all their best front three starting and only able to score 1 goal (from midfielder Herrera)? I know Mbappe was injured early second half, but I thought their midfield would stop Brugge attacks better than that. With RB Leipzig scoring 3 against City I think that group might be harder to predict than it appears.

I was happy to see PSG fail, too many superstars I always wondered if they would mesh as a unit, Herara had a very nice goal though!

As for the city game! that was very entertaining RB Lepzig looked good!

I was also impressed watching Haller step up for Ajax, 4 goals in his first ever champions league game.

I have not watched that game yet. I can believe Ajax can find someone to score 4 goals in their debut Champions League game. Ajax has the best scouting system in world soccer. It really is incredible.

Messi is a doubt for Tuesday Champions League game against Man City. I think City will win and put PSG under pressure already to get out of the group. That is my very very early prediction.

I just read that N'Golo Kante is out for the game against Juventus due to positive COVID test. Not good!

I heard that Juventus are missing quite a few players too, hopefully we can pull this one off without Kante, I wonder if they will give Saul another shot in the midfield, I think RLC deserves some field time.

I haven't seen them play in a very long time so I'm not aware of their current form. I just don't like the fact Kante is out because he is essential to Chelsea. That recent loss to Man City was a wake up call.

I was cheering for City too, but that didn't end well. 2-0 PSG. Even though PSG had fewer shots, PSG did control the game and didn't allow City too many good chances in the first half at least. I didn't see the 2nd half.

Well that's pretty impressive by PSG if that's the case. Either that or City was extra amped to get revenge on Chelsea and played at a higher level (Chelsea didn't help though) and came back down a bit in the CL game against PSG.

Yeah PSG put in a good game. I noticed PSG was able to over come City's press and when the ball made it to midfield, they were able to control the play for a bit looking to create chances. On the breaks, PSG would get forward to create a chance. Looks like PSG front 3 are starting to click. Still a ways off, but you can see it starting to work. PSG looks like a totally different team to the one that tied Club Brugge.

I watched is semi close, it was fairly even but each team had good spells. City didn't take care of a couple good chances and PSG's defense was blocking a fair amount of shots.
