Really? When you look on the configurator it still says the control display is touch screen. I’m interested in this as I have a 220i M Sport on order and my dealer has not said anything to me!

Also, if the touch screen is deleted will there be a credit applied to the order for that?

I would imagine your going to get your money back if a product is removed mate, I'd get in touch with your dealer for more accurate information. Mine might be more on the ball as I'm pestering him lol

12 March is now the UK launch date according to my dealer. Seems like a long time to wait but at least we’ll have M Sport seats to sit in when our cars arrive

The system showed a “showroom ready” date. The matches info from another customer buying through Park Lane. I hope you’re right and I’m wrong btw

To be honest mate I did say, can you make sure on the delivery date as some guys on the forum are a slightly later date. He said "no I'm looking at it right now and everything is the same" so hopefully we're in our cars sooner than later mate

I got an email today from my dealer that the car has now been assigned a build slot and should be with them ~20th March.

Very excited!

I’ve got a 220i on order.

I’ve had nothing deleted from my order either, so still got the touchscreen nav.

Called in to see dealer today for an update as originally ordered 22nd July and since the have had all sorts of dates given ,,, last time we looked in early November it was a build date of w/c 28th November and a delivery of end of January... at the time we were both sceptical about this date !!!
Now looking today the date has gone back massively to a build date of 14th April and delivery 24th June but the dealer said they have just come back from Christmas shutdown and that date is likely to change and come forward once they get up and going...
The European launch date is supposed to still be the 12th March and every dealer in Europe is expecting at least one car for there showroom / demonstrator so I expect that's what they are making in the next few weeks.... hopefully a few customers cars will come through at the same time..
I asked if any items would be missing due to the chip shortage and up to now everything is ok... So the wait continues!!!!!

Fingers crossed ours all come on time 🤞🏽

I secured mine 3 weeks before Christmas and was told delivery in March sometime even know my paper work states the 10th but none the less just hoping it arrives in March full stop.

Looking forward to seeing some UK cars and also hoping we don't get the delays that seem to be happening in the US.

I have a European one on order (Belgium)… And was scheduled to be delivered the last week of january, but just like most others, it has now been pushed back to March (9th). The car is ready though and waiting at the plant. Started production on the 9th of December and production completed the 20th december. (Ordered end of September)

Same here, ordered end of August and build is to start mid-end Feb with a March delivery.
At the time of ordering I was 13th in the queue for UK orders. I'd say realistically we'll be sitting in our cars in April

Hope so pal, surly they will deliver customers cars with the show/demonstration cars 🤷🏼*♂️, doesn't look good of it's a March launch with no cars

How different are UK specced cars besides the Right Hand Drive?

I don't know the full ins and outs and I might be wrong, but you guys get a sunroof as standard I believe and ours are optional.

We also get the M Sport seat belts and the sports seats as standard where something tells me you don't get these in the US at all.

I've also not seen the 19" 893 M double spoke wheels on Any US cars but that might just be me not seeing enough of them.

I'm sure there maybe more changes and also my information maybe wrong so apologies in advance if it is so.

No worries ... Was trying to think of reasons why the UK versions are not being produced. How much does the assembly line have to be changed when the runs happen. Are there any different pollution or MPG standards?

In addition to noticeable changes and different option mixes UK/European cars may have slight changes to less obvious things like the bumpers (the actual bumpers, not the bumper cap we see from the exterior) and parts of the crash structure to optimize the vehicle for Europe’s crash testing as oppose to the US’s.

How do you know there not it production mate, surly they must be in some kind of order with spec and colour being the main factor. I've been told my car starts production end of Feb with a March delivery. They must know about delay's and time scales. My original dates were as above, then got pulled forward to a delivery of start of Feb two month's ago to have them put back to original dates two weeks ago

I ordered 31 July
My delivery date is now showing 24th June!
It was originally planned for build week 48 to meet the uk launch in March
I’m told the launch is still planned for March with deliveries commencing straight after, I’m not convinced the left and the right hand are talking, it’s a shambles as I can’t see there being many in the queue before me.
