Oh, the Straight Pipes review. I wasn't sure if a new issue had surfaced.

There's a whole thread about it in the previous gen 240i and Straight Pipes confirmed it's what they felt in the current gen.

https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1624490

However I do wonder if it's specific to the tires used.

The reason why I say that is because I feel the same thing with my Cayenne Coupe using the OEM Dunlop 21 tires but then with the Michelin winter set in 20s it's not noticeable as much.

However on my F80 M3 nor my M2c was this issue ever evident.

Holy crap, i just went to configurator and you indeed see a change to the fenders and quarters with the m tech pkg, although it's barely noticeable. This made me realize that the 893M wheels in the m sport pkg comes with wider tires. I wonder if there's anything else to expect with 33T
Is there any way to add the mTech pkg without the the black surroundings around the grill and side intake openings.

Unfortunately in Canada you need to M Sport Pro Package, gives you 245/35/19 tires upfront instead of 225/40/19. Also this package gives you M Seat Belts, something I wish I had but can definitely live without.

Hey can you share the specifics of your deal? Were you able to get any deals or reduction on financing?

From what I've heard they're selling cars at MSRP it's only because we bought two vehicles and we're long time customers that they give us a discount

Ugh. My car was suppose to have week 11 production and we are two weeks past that and still stuck in 112 status. Is it ever going to production? I just hope I get to drive this summer.

Hope you get your car soon. This is why I went with a car already on the dealer lot. Options were suboptimal for me, but I didn't want to risk waiting indefinitely for a custom build.

Yeah. I was thinking the same but so far all the dealer cars I've seen are the HEA ones which limits colors to black, white, or BG and just the gloss black wheels. I figured I am already paying this much, adding a few thousand get the options and color I want was worth it.

Hey guys, placed my order today! Very excited. Quick question, does anyone know if the car comes standard with remote start? or is this something we need to buy from the bmw connected services stores?

Capability is standard, so you can include it in your build, or order it later through the store at about $330US.

Well if you order the fancy driver assistance package with all the cameras, then I think the drive recorder for $100 is worth it. I have it, but not played around with it too much.

I have a couple of free months of the red light camera app, but I don't think I will subscribe when it runs out. I don't really run reds regularly.

There are some foo foo apps which seem to try and turn your car into some kind of spa or organize your life, but they don't seem in character for a sports coupe.

I think there's a real opportunity for some good, fun app's but I'll bet BMW ain't hip to 3rd party developers muscling in on their turf.

I wish I could put Plex in the cars HD to access the music on my NAS directly, instead of through my phone. That would be pretty cool.
