Thank you, Tag! I had seen that announcement, but I thought it would be just due to the anniversary badges, which (I assume) will be discontinued sometime next year.

This is believed to be Zaandvort Blue

I am more interested in the 50th anniversary individual colors

Like the Jahre M3?

I don't think that'll happen with the G87. It'll just get the 50th anniversary badging.

It may not even get that. A recent bulletin stated that the 50th badging was EOP 12/22.

We will see but 50th was supposed to last 12 months and started in may. I have read from several news publications that the g87 would be included. It would be small run anyways as the m3 is limited to 500 to NA.

I believe the 500 M3s are limited edition 50 Jahre.
The G87 will have the 50th anniversary badging for the first 4 months of production.

Correct, but the most recent bulletin retracts that. It could possibly a supply issue? It would not be surprising.

Dravit Grey might be my #1 choice but not sure I'd wanna wait an extra 10 weeks just for that. Hoping they offer some colors like Iomg and Spy. Gotta see how this looks with the new blue color as well

Dravit is available for plenty cars and doesn't take an additional 10 weeks. Great choice and much more rare than say a Brooklyn Gray.

Coulda swore I read a thread not too long ago about someone's G82 build and that their original build week got pushed out from week 4 to week 14 because of selecting Dravit. I also see this message whenever you pick it on the configuration tool

Yeah it definitely can add the 10 weeks...but more so I've seen it add less than a month. Worth it if you absolutely love the color.

I'm not here to hijack this thread by any means, but man, that car looks classy. Maybe I'm just used to the new BMW design language, but to me, that really stands out. It looks refreshing, muscular, and not in your face. It has presence. You can see yourself dressed in a suite going to dinner in this thing and doing it quickly.

Okay back to color, I've always had black cars and deviated when I got my M2C. I want to see what the car truly looks like before committing to a color. I love Tanzanite though with a nice Cohiba interior, that would be dope as all hell.

my current car is black which is obviously uninspiring. I am really digging the blues...Voodoo blue, Miami blue, or Mexico Blue.

Porsche also had a color called Lava Orange which I thought was really unique and stood out. I think Sunset Orange that BMW had was close to this color. Has anyone seen that color before?

My friend has a gt3rs in lava orange.. it's a flatter color with little to no metallic.. sunset orange has more metallic flake in it. Both great colors

I never thought I would ever consider an orange color for a car but the world is filled with blacks, whites, silvers, and grays...wants to stick out a little bit.

I agree. I always wanted to blend in and not look too flashy because I didn't want to be a dousche.. but then I got a yas marina blue M3 and couldn't stop staring at it. I would get at least once a day a thumbs up from random people…. I now have a Long Beach blue M2 and get a lot of compliments on the color. My plan is to get zaandvort blue or possibly go individual. I ordered a g80 m3 in Brooklyn gray and then started noticing every Kia, Toyota and Honda in the same shade. Really wanted red but talked myself out of it because it was too flashy. I sold that car pretty quick anyways, but realize now I need to get out of the grayscale of cars to be excited about looking at it daily

Having the same problem with BG. I've always wanted a nardo gray type color, but man similar colors are everywhere. Not to mention BG is pretty much available throughout the entire lineup as well. I'd say about 60-70% of all MSport cars are being ordered with it..and the M340 is on its way.

Really hoping we get some unique choices other than Zaandvort. Not a fan.

I would do a real red too. I hope they have some nostalgic color a available like imola or Melbourne red. That was my problem in f80, the sakhir orange was supposed to be the bright color but was not my style and not a real red.
