Just received notice that both the rear spoiler and the black badge was shipped today after waiting for over two months. Really looking forward to getting them in soon--finally.

Has anyone been able to get this spoiler as a port-installed accessory WITHOUT having to buy the front splitter? When my dealer tries to add it to my M240 build it is forcing them to add the front splitter too. I ONLY want the rear spoiler, is that possible?

Yes it's possible. It's actually the opposite in fact that if you add the front splitter you need to add the rear spoiler and also it needs to be coded. Have your dealer double check their entry they are ordering it wrong.
They charge way too much for port installed, just buy it yourself and install and save a lot.

Can you tell what you mean by coded and why is it needed? Thank you

If BMW doesn’t code this it will throw function malfunctions on your car. Talk to your service advisor when ordering the part they will explain and setup an appointment for this. This is only for the front splitter, you do not need coding for only a rear spoiler install.
