That's awesome news. I've been sniffing around the RS6 here but am not convinced it's a fun car. This would be worth waiting for.

You just gotta find the dealers that don't do markups. They are out there. I had to buy my '22 M3 in a different state to avoid markup lol.

I agree, they're out there for sure but few and fair in between. Had to go from Michigan to Missippippi for my 21 M2. Just don't like seeing enthusiast cars go the way of the Focus RS where sales numbers were poor because of ridiculous dealer markups and the OEMs decide it's not work bring future models to the US.

A manual touring would be incredible. I have to assume they won't do it, especially since they're only offering the M3 Touring in Competition (A/T) spec. But I'll keep hoping...

I'll believe it when I see it. They initially said the same thing about the ///M3 touring. The same exact hurdles that ultimately caused them not to bring the M3T here in the end are all an issue for the M5T as well. But now you're also talking a fraction of the production volume of what M3T sales would have been. Which is even more of a reason it's highly unlikely to come here. Unless they make it such an extremely limited production model that it can fall below the production volume requirement for U.S. regulations, similar to how they got around the U.S. roll bar prohibition with the low volume M3 GTS cars. Otherwise I wouldn't hold my breath.
