Some that I'd consider from the m3/m4 online palette are:

Tanzanite Blue
British Racing Green
Frozen Black Metallic
Ruby Black Metallic
The design of the G87 is going to look totally different than the G42 so i won’t be making my color choice decision on that car.Based on how great the G87 test car looked in the bight camo pattern i think the G87 is going to look awesome in a bright color like Toronto Red.

Agreed, a nice shade of blue like portimao or something even lighter would be great

I hope your right bc I enjoy bright colors but the Camo is covering up my (personal) potential dislike areas. My issue is not with the shape / silhouette of the car- I Iove it. It's that I'm not a fan of the tail light housing and not sure how I feel about the gloss black rear diffuser. I prefer both blending in with darker paint colors rather than create high contrast.

With the G42, black paint completely transformed everything I didn't find favorable (triangles in front grill, gloss black side skirts and rear diffuser, tail lights). The car also looks much beefier in black imo.

This!! I'm with you 100%. As much as I don't want a third black car, I don't know if I'll be able to get over the rear end, but I'm cautiously optimistic it'll look better once we see the official unveiling.

IT.WAS.AWESOME...that 911 wore that orange great. Even my wife who knows nothing about cars (or couldn't care less) said to me "That color looked really nice. You should consider it."

Still not sure if I have the stones to go orange but man...Fire Orange may be a serious contender now LOL.
I have waffled on and off about Fire Orange. Just like week I came to the final conclusion there is no way I could do it. Far to bold for this guy.

If I get a G87 it will have individual paint. I have a small list of colors that I yet to see recently on any builds.

This is exactly why I went black on my G42 and ShadowLine.

Been here since 2008, I’ve seen everything. There are a few rare colors I have in mind. A couple most people wouldn’t even consider. But I need to see G87 in flesh to see if it can pull it off. Also depends if BMW will approve one of them, they are old BMW colors.

Color has to be on the visualizer to be approved.

Not true. You can even do individual colors that require research (something BMW has never done). BMW will do anything really, exterior and interior if you got the money and get approved. There have been some very unique approvals in the past(e9x and F8x forums).

San Marino Blue would be a popular option.
