FYI, anyone that has a deposit down for one of the first allocation spots, you will be able to order this car, take delivery, enjoy it for 500 to 1000 miles, flip it, and put an additional $30k+ in the bank via selling it on BaT. So even if you are uncertain about the exterior design this would be the path to follow. Plus, you never know the driving experience might be absolute bliss! Scratch the itch and move on…

I wonder what the value will be on these in 10 to 20 years when electric and hybrids are the new norm.

I don’t like it at all. Seven years ago most were excited for the looks of the F87 M2. The G87 M2 is ugly especially the rear. Won’t be as fast as G82 M4.

Totally agree, not feeling the rear bumper, I was the same way for G80 until I saw it for the first time. Still wasn't sure. But once I drove her home you forget about grill and weight, because how good the drive was. It will be same for G87. But I think BMW wants us to buy the MP muffler to get a decent bumper lol.

Front end is alright, not nearly as good looking as the F87 Comp unfortunately. The launch color absolutely sucks ass. Rear end is awful, at least from that angle. Not too sure what I'm going to do at this point sadly.. was excited about this car but it just hasn't oogled me like the F87 did when I first saw it at the release back in 2015

Agreed. I do not think the exterior color is doing it any favors in the three photos provided.

I am open to a CPO GTS if it came down to it. Electric Cayman is not on the table for me as I already have an electric car. Not going to trade one in and get another one.

My wife gave me one chance to go all out on a car so I really have to like the car. I am not sure of the M2 though I know I will love the Cayman. I got time. I know when the G82 came out I was like WTF? Now I do not mind it at all and would be open to getting one if it was not so massive.

I immediately didn't like it at first but over the course of the day I guess it's grown on me a little to the point where I've come to accept it.

I just cant stop seeing squares and rectangles and its bugging me. Launch color would be good on other cars but looks bad on the G87. The G42 triangles bugged me too amongst other things and I planned to cancel that allocation until I saw one in BSM and I loved it. Really hope I wont have to go BSM again to make the G87 work - my Xpel installer will be happy if I do though lol.

My 17 yo son said it looks like the G87 has a Pokemon face. Now I can't get passed that.

Like others - final judgement reserved for mid October reveal.

I'm pretty sad about the fender vents. They have to add these in my opinion. They're signature M car.
