God I really like the idea of carbon seats but when I sat in them I was surprised how snug they were on my legs. I was not sure if I liked not being able to move me legs as freely as I would like. FYI I am 5'8" 155lbs.

I am the same weight, but 5’11” and I had little to no issues with the buckets. Nevertheless, I do not want them in the event that I drive this car at length/long distances.

Yeah, I really do not do too many long trips. If I did it probably would be in our SUV. I didn't have any issues getting in and out which is nice to know but man I will need to really think about it.

T_U_D def not going to wait for individual paint??

Didn't know with 100% certainty, but I'm also not surprised. It doesn't make sense that for an entry level M car if you don't want a sunroof it'll cost you $2,600 and if you want CF bucket seats you have to get a package with options you may not want for $10k. This pushes the cars price into M3/4 territory. Such a load of horsesh!t.

I placed my order into the order bank nearly a month ago. If individual paint becomes available at LCI I will revisit then.

M equals Marketing. The CF roof as well as the buckets will be a revenue generator. Smart of the U.S. Product Planning team, they clearly suspected that these would be the two items that individuals would want the most.

Garage List
2019 330xi  [10.00]
2017 Audi Q7 3.0  [0.00]
2020 M2C  [10.00]
Here would be my build:
Base MSRP $62,200
Color Brooklyn Grey Metallic $650
Wheels. 19"/20" M Light Alloy Bi-color Double-spoke Wheels, Style 930M with Mixed Tires
Upholstery. Black Merino Leather with M Color Highlight
Trim. Carbon Fiber trim

Packages + Options
Carbon Package. $9,900
Lighting Package. $650
Shadowline Package. $300
M Compound Brakes with Red Calipers
Manual transmission
Heated Steering Wheel. $200
Live Cockpit Pro with Head-up Display. $1,100
Destination & Handling. $995
Total Price (MSRP) $75,995

Now, I will not order this car if the Carbon Pack includes the M Driver Package...get rid of it BMW!!!! Make it a stand alone option. I'm sure this will be broken apart soon.

That's less than what GM is charging for Carbon on the 4V Blackwing and it includes a carbon roof and carbon buckets. I would honestly have gotten it if it didn't make me select the $2,500 M Driver's Pack. $7,400 to group it all together without M Pack would make my build $72,650 plus DFC.

When you phrase it like that it makes it seem like you get all the carbon the 4BW gets AND a carbon roof + carbon seats. But they're completely different and nothing overlaps at all. If the M2 had a carbon package that included all the items the 4BW got then it would be 9k by itself without the roof or seats.

you're right, the 4BW gets a lot of exterior carbon but most of it is just for appearance. Canards and a kink on the spoiler are the only pieces that are additional over the car without the carbon. The rest is just replacing gloss black with carbon.

Additionally both seat options they offer aren't even remotely comparable to the carbon buckets. You're actually spending $16k when you add the upgraded seats which are on par with the Base M2 seat

Brooklyn Grey

I'm conflicted. Which would look better black wheels or two tone wheels?

Sorry, but I still like them. I have them on my G42 M240ix and they look great and have had compliments from many others.

Must be we need another poll on which of the two wheels everyone likes.

That's a great build at a great price. I feel like $65K - $67.5K is the sweet spot.
