Looks great. Still torn between TR or BG for colors. Don't have too much time left to decide. Leaning toward TR. ZB is growing on me but still seems a bit too feminine.

My dealer had samples of TR and ZB, and 2 cars in Brooklyn Gray.

Looking at the swatches, and seeing a (3 series, I think?) in the flesh in gray, I happily switched to BG. As my SA called it, TR is very nail varnish red, while ZB is still a little washed out.

I take it you’be got an allocation?

Do you think carbon fiber would wear the dirt any easier? I’m considering looking for a CF diffuser or getting it wrapped.

The material will not make a difference if its in a location that is a magnet for dirt. It will, however, look better than gloss black, in general.

From some angles those rear fenders reminds of those dually pick up trucks fenders

He/she mentioned that they were able to check out the carbon seats. I am going to assume (i wont say i know for sure) these seats are the same seats in the M4 comp? I test drove an M4 Comp with the buckets a few months back... i liked them! Tight and unforgiving with the exact right amount of cushion... I am used to this after marrying my better half, but I digress...
The seats then convinced me to lose 13lbs so they fit better 14 lbs later, I am ready for the carbon jewel crusher seats!!!!!

I've never had external carbon bits on any of my cars but I would assume it would hide dirt and grime better. Maybe similar to how gunmetal colored wheels hide dirt much better than gloss black?

Yeah, I saw that too.

Thanks for the tip-off AndyDubbya The cars were unlocked so I managed to get some internal pics and even to sit in the carbon buckets.

NEVER will I think those squares are anything but weird looking design.

Agreed. I wouldn't mod it, but it's one of the things that made me cancel my order, including the tacky colours on the buckets.
Those weren't the dealbreakers though... the weight, the cast wheels and the lack of comp version were.

I'm an old man I guess. Let's see if the comp is more subtle!

You didn't have to get the seats with the M color trim, there were other options for the same seats. If your real issue was with it not being a Comp, that is different. But price would be different, who knows what the weight would be, who knows what options/standards would be different and IF its only bumped up 20hp, not worth it to me for the increase in price you would pay. I will take my chances with the warranty and tune this car and make the upgrades I WANT (which would be past the Comp specs).

I can tell you (as its the same on my M240), IMO, the colors on the door panels actually look good (and its on the dash, as well).

I was going to go for the carbon buckets in the M2, so I was stuck with the red & blue leather trims and contrast stitching.
Price wasn't really a concern. I had it loaded up, and I was going to order M3/4 wheels and sell the stock set. Alas, I will wait for the Comp and hope that it has 825 or 826 as options.

I trust that the quality of the lights is good, but I'd prefer something monochrome, or classic BMW orange or something. Lots of colour isn't for everyone.

Like I suggested, maybe I'm just an old man!

I dont think those were the buckets that were posted. I thinkbthose are the Vernasca with M color highlights. ..but I could be mistaken if the old mind is failing.

When the seats continue to be the only good looking thing in these newer cars.

I can see why the seats don't depreciate LOL

Nice one! Interesting to have a mooch about there, isn’t it? Well done on getting inside for the interior shots.

Both colours look better in the flesh, don’t they?

Tag The vehicles are on show for employees and invited guests only, the vehicles are a majority pre production models showroom yet to have been launched. This is why it's important to ensure that when invited guests are invited for events or by an individual it's explained, so when photos are posted it's made clear to those viewing.
