Just chiming in to reinforce this statement. I see a lot of comments across the interwebs about how, in the past, people used to change their "yellow" headlights to white and now we're trying to go back to that.

Not even close. Actual yellow lights have been in use in motorsports for years and THAT shade of yellow (I want to say they're 3200 kelvin) is very different compared to the pale yellow-ish lights you'd see in halogen bulbs (which is closer to 5000 kelvin).

Ok, they are more acid yellow then warm brownish yellow. Looks a bit more motorsport. I too, can dig it though this isnt smth id have on my car.

I went the extra mile w/ my E91 and E90. In North America, the E90-1 pre LCI came with a different headlight housing that included an orange reflector at the corner. I secured 2 sets of Euro spec headlights to get rid of it.

That is also why I had to get BMW Canada to add to my E90 Individual spec the removal of Adaptive Headlights so that the Euro swap pieces would be cheaper. Adaptive Headlights were std on the 335i.
