Same here. Picked ZB with red brakes and bicolor wheels. Thought red will give better contrast over the blue.

Yeah, I changed my calipers to red today for the contrast, probably gonna get red fluid caps from ind. The darker blue calipers would make ZB look even more pale

Wish black calipers were a G87 option

I have driven many M vehicles equipped with them on track. In my opinion they are an overkill for a vehicle to be solely used on public roads. The only advantage as a street car is the reduction in brake dust. They are not worth the money just to accomplish that. |

Does it help with fading or taking care of brake fluid and installing SS brake lines better for fading mitigation?

Compared with std brakes, do ceramic take more beatings before fading?

That's the whole point of CCB, they don't fade. They also don't make you stop any better than steel brakes (so long as you don't overheat them). Rule of thumb, if you're going to track your car hard CCB is something to consider but if you're just driving on the street, you won't see any ROI.

Track people don't get CCB's because of this, resulting in more frequent replacements. The risk with steel or iron is cracking but if you don't drill the discs you will likely not have that issue. CCB's are high maintenance if you want to get your money's worth. |
