That's a killer spec and great place to start!

I'm actually kind of pleased with keeping the manual and comfy seats and a bit of sporty "GT" styling. This should dramatically help my efforts to convince my wife an automatic CS version is warranted

Going a diet yourself makes the most sense. This is a 3800lb car, it will be heavy.

Right now I'm looking at Richland forged, not set in stone yet. Since I just added the cf parts today and the cross hatch is a square pattern and grey I am just double checking in my mind how everything is going to look together now, but so far the rf-gt4 (JustinHEMI is working on the g87 application with them right now) seem to fit the lines and shape I'm going for.

If I drop 200 from the car and 30 from me I think that would be a decent start.

I've got 40 pounds to lose, and I'm down 10. Been working on it for a few months because I didn't want to be the old fat guy driving this car, now I'll just be old (48).

I will definitely post pics and weights when I receive them. Should be 4-6 weeks from today.

The wheel specs I'm trying are;

19x10 ET+14
20x11 ET+11
PCD 5x112, CB 66.56

Piano Black

Modelled after this wheel;

Hey youngster, you are still on the good side of 50. I passed that delineation almost six years ago.

My plan will be to use the stock rims and tires while waiting on the Vossens as I will be going a touch wider (but in no way taller) in the back (more meat to the ground for better traction). Hopefully the springs will be available by that time so I can do all of the wheel/lowering changes at once.

They did say that I should be able to wider with this spec if I so choose down the line.

That I'll have to see considering the first round of reviews talking about all the traction the car has.

It was stated to have more grip but at what power...which the car may act differently than how the rear tires act when under higher power levels especially in the South Florida heat (plus the plan will be to have the ecu tuned so all bets will be off at that time).

Weight reduction from factory
- Manual
- Carbon roof
- Carbon buckets

Aftermarket weight solutions
- Forged Wheels
- Battery
- Aftermarket carbon hood
- Catback exhaust
- Remove rear seats (not for everyone)

If you include all the above mods, I'm sure you could get close to 250lbs off this car.. This does not even include more extreme and expensive options like a carbon trunk or carbon ceramics.

im going to be one of the weird ones... i am going to look for a skinnier tire so i can have a "squirli-er" back end.
I 100% plan on getting some sort of spacers as i dont think the tires fill the wheel well quite enough. A slightly thinner tire isnt going to help in that department
It pains me to say it, I love the way a phat ass'd back tire looks on an ever so slightly lowered car.

Yeah that'll be neat to see!

I'm likely going to lower as well, and will probably add some spacers to correct the gap and stance.

I've gone back and forth about rear rims possibly being wider, but I think I'm settling on keeping the width stock, but adjusting offset. I'd rather do offset instead of spacers (weight and 1 less component). I think offsetting the rear wheels will create a better look, a little more stability, but keep the width for the bit of playfulness.

Front wheel and tire combo is 53lbs boys! I think we're looking at 27lb front wheels. Not bad at all. Once the new front 827 goes on I'll weigh the difference.

What tires came on the car? Really hope you weigh the car first before modding it...
