The wings don't look good in the front or back. The editing on this video was extremely choppy, and the insert of "boy racer" was odd.
I am curious how much of a drop was done so I know how much to dial it back.

Liking the rims though.

LOL people buying these cars just to say they have a new M2 let's be real.

Maybe the CS version will look better stock. Maybe.

Such as telling themselves "people buying these cars just to say they have a new M2 let's be real."?

Or maybe those people want a RWD, 450hp monster with a manual transmission, up-to-date tech and an aggressive design? Just cause you don't like the design doesn't mean people are lying to themselves when they say they do

For me the price is too close to M3/4. I don’t get reason to buy M2

I think I just don’t like the car so I don’t get it all together….

$15k isn't exactly chump change, it's a full extra 25% starting price.

If that difference doesn't matter at all to you and you don't want a smaller wheelbase then for sure the m3/m4 makes more sense. Looks wise, the m3/4 is *at best* just controversial in a different way.

It’s ironic that we buy a car this expensive and have to change so many things to make it look more pleasing to the eye. I know a part or part there can be individual taste but as much I warm up to G platform design cues, I’m not sure if putting $10-$20 into an already way expensive M2 is worth it.

Something I've been keenly aware of since taking delivery. It's kind of dumb. But honestly there's only one brand of cars within spitting distance that gets reliability, drive ability, aesthetics and wheel fitment correct: Porsche.

Perhaps I should I have just saved another 30k...

Really?

The wheel gaps on my p-cars were comparable to BMW's.

GT3s excluded of course...

Yea I agree 911 is where it’s at. And I agree that BMW M is best alternative (for lower cost). They are different. They are not same but u get a lot from BMW M car and u can stay under 100k for new M3

The thing is that there is no other small-ish RWD coupe with a six, a manual and a back seat under 100K on the market. Ok, there is the Mustang, but I don't have enough hair on my chest.

Nothing “needs” improving, people do it because they “want” to. Its called modifying & there is a whole industry out there thats been operating since cars became reality…absolutely EVERYTHING “can” be improved upon.
Every 2nd M3/4 i come across is heavily modified in the looks dept., how does that differ to this car ?.

Or to put it another way i dont get why people would pay any extra for an M4 over an M2… they are more money, more mass, longer wheelbase, less playful, less potential…
I personally wouldnt even consider an M3/4 & even if they were the same price id still take an M2 everytime (as would plenty of others), but i do get that there are others that would prefer the bigger more luxurious M3/4, just as there others that would prefer the M5 over the M3…
See there is always people with different requirements than your own & just because you dont “get it” doesnt mean others dont.
Oh & no im not buying a G87 but its not because of the looks or because i am unable to see the potential in this car.

I'd pay more for an m2 than an m4 (which I wouldn't even consider because of the size) if the m2 had the same power but was lighter, and came with forged wheels.

Edit, and I know this will be the CS, but manual transmission is non-negotiable

Better than before, but in general, you can't make chicken soup out of chicken shit.
The car stays utopic ugly as hell.

Looks great! My only question is spacers are not usually optimal for handling and preserving the natural abilities of the car. This IS NOT an option for those who care about handling.. This seems like a lowering springs option that is not taking handling into consideration, just aesthetics.
Thoughts? Im looking into the port installed M perf suspension. But i know its only dropped 10 mil.

Great build so far even though I don't love the side blades. Would love to see a PS of the wheels in white on ZB. Feel like it would really set the color off.

For those that don't love the look, I get it because it is such a departure from BMW's recent design language. To me it evokes a modern E30 M3 vibe especially with the one piece rear wing BMW has shown a few times.

Spacers do not demonstrably affect the handling of a car. You need to be a legitimate "pro" to find that limit.
