It can be permanently disabled in your settings. Why code it out?

Thanks gents! I only picked up the car last night so I haven't been right into the details of the settings yet - you had to code it out on my ID7 G42 so assumed ID8 in the G87 was the same. But this even better! Great stuff.

Just remember that the ASS LED on the button has to be on for ASS to be off!

Bimmercode has come in very handy with my dog and the deactivated seatbelt chime. So far also done via G20/G80 profile: Ambient lighting to Blue Decreased Mirror dip to 60% iDrive 8 start-up warning deactivated Seatbelt warnings turned off Bower & Wilkins sound profile Video enabled Turn Signal to 5. Does anyone know if you change the Drive Mode on start up to Sport will it change ours to start in Sport instead of Road? |

Bummer, thanks. Not a big deal the press of a button but I have found no use for the Road mode. I prefer the Tach on the HUD and auto deactivation of the Lane Assist.
I haven’t figured out how to turn it off in my profile like in the i4. Happy Canada Day btw! |

The M2 sure makes the old E46 feel downright geriatric. Not in a bad way but they don’t even feel related. Still love the Hydraulic steering on it though. I did just see my first M240 in the flesh, pulled in right next to me. I didn’t have the heart to tell him what I just got. |

Is there a way to change it to black? Not a big deal just curious as they went so far with certain details but skipped out on the wheels? |

Any way to get exhaust valves open in all modes?

Exhaust valve operation
I would think it would be possible to hook up a manual switch?

Coding
I've coded "One-Touch Turn Signal Five Flashes" and it says "Active" but does not work. Others have it working?

Has anyone been able to get the default M-Mode to start in "Sport" instead of "Road" with Bimmercode? |

You now have to go into the idrive menu and select it. You'll now see an option for 5 flashes.

Thanks! Just confirmed this. Specifically go to apps menu -> exterior lighting and the one touch option will be there to go from 3 to 5 blinks after coding it. I couldn’t find the option messing around in idrive and had to google it.
