Lol. Once I got the angle right it went in much easier, good lighting helped.
I have already noted much better and consistent transitions with the new stop. I installed with 1 less spacer and like the placement and feel.

On my car the top rubber piece got unglued. Also I could see from the indentation that the pedal was hitting the side of the clutch stop at an angle, so over time I was concerned this side pressure would more likely cause it to break. If the pedal was hitting the top of the clutch stop I would less concerned. So for now I removed mine and went back to stock. |

$1-00 Clutch Stop
BMS Style was going to cost $20-30 to get to me in Aus.. Made my own
Get yourself a 25mm (1 inch) Christmas Tree panel clip and rubber washers to suit. I used 2 washers I had on hand for @ 8mm (5/16 inch) stop. Fitted firm with no problem with clutch pedal travel for starting. I no longer find myself stretching for the 1st gear starts and the take up point feels more positive. Obviously easy to adjust the size to your liking. Build time 30 seconds, Fitting time 1min. Took longer to find the drawer I put the rubber washers in |
