So I was able to find a nice set of OZ rims and Blizzacks on Tire Rack that supposedly fits a M4. They are 19x9. I assume they will fit all four corners? Or do I need 19x9.5?

I would like to go this route as they are much cheaper than anything from BMW, look good, and are light weight.

Here's the part number for last years 829 set up.

36115A076B8.

Have your BMW parts department search other dealers if they don't have any in stock.

Is it bad that I just want to get a second set of 930Ms with some all seasons?

Winter tires are overkill here in NoVa and nothing is really catching my eye as a replacement summer wheel that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, or isn't a pain to clean (looking at you 827M).

Here in Germany I always keep the car with 2 sets of wheels the same. One that are on the car when purchased= summer. Then the same wheels winter. I like the car to look the same any season. Winter tires in OEM size same as the original tires. Both sets Michelin. PS5 for winter this year optimized for BMW.
So 2 sets OEM 930M wheels/ summer/winter.

I think your plan is ok. If the weather is bad would you drive. Probably not to begin with.

I'm debating just buying tires this season and having them mounted on stock wheels. I'm not sure the $3k investment in wheels will pay off with tire changeover.

I'll go with Pirelli Scorpion Winter
I considered doing this too as I was having trouble finding a wheel I liked for the winter, but then I was having trouble finding winter tires that fit the stock wheels.

This is the other option I'm considering but worried about the wheels and or tires getting damaged.

BMW is/was selling a winter wheel and tire package with the same wheel and tire dimensions as the stock wheels. Says Michelin PA5, but I can't find those same tires in the rear wheel dimensions anywhere.

Oh I wasn't thinking along those lines, more the unmounting/mounting of tires on the wheels.

From what I have read the BMW winter package comes with run flat Pirelli's and is about $4500. Tire Rack will have 285/30 20's (Pirelli) non runflat at the end of November. They are about $630 per tire. I have a quote for about $2100.00 for a complete set of tires only

Hi - I just took delivery and live in NE so trying to get winter tires. I'm getting quoted nearly 10k for both the front and rears, official package. Are other folks still getting the 4kish price?

Here is the online pricing which of you add both comes to nearly 10k: https://www.shopbmwusa.com/product/1...-JET-BLACK-UNI

I think you probably bought 4 front and 4 rear. I just went and did it for the 2024 M2 and it came to ~$4500

I agree, I was just searching for winter wheel/tire set up and the BMW website lists a staggered set up with rim style 826M and Michelin Pilot Alpine 5 with part numbers different from what are shown earlier in this thread for $4,545.88 under 2023 M2. https://www.shopbmwusa.com/product/1...-JET-BLACK-UNI

Quick question. I'm picking up the M2 G87 as my first (own) car next week and will obviously change to a winter setup immediately.

Stock rims/tires are 19x9.5 front and 20x10.5 rear with 275/35 and 285/30 tires respectively.

I've ordered the 829Ms with Pirelli P Zero Winter tires. The front will change to a 19x9 (same tire size) and the back will change to a 19x9.5 with 275/35 tires (same as front).

Can I use the original lug nuts for the new setup or do I need new hardware as the sizes differ a little?

The same M14x1.5 bolts that have a 27mm long shank will fit all current BMW 5x112 bolt pattern wheels (assuming no spacers).

I have the same 829M wheels for the winter and used the same lug nuts and everything just fit. My G87 is bone stock so no spacers for me.
the 829M are the BMW recommended wheels so should have no problems.

Thank you guys!

I'll install spacers when I switch back in spring.

G80 M3 18/19s seem perfect for the application. Make sure you get the forged wheels and buy tires separately, as the "winter tire set" will be cast AFAIK.

Wait I'm confused. Do I HAVE to switch to forged wheels? I've seen plenty of people put spacers on the stock 930M wheels which are cast as well.

I didn't check all the options yet but H&R spacers for example explicitly say they're not made for cast wheels.

I got the 824m rims from the base G80, 18" front 19" rear. Kumho WP72 275/40r18 front and 275/35r19 rear. It's the only brand I could find that had those sizes. Ride is so plush. I may keep the rims during the summer and install all-season tires, just love the ride.

I placed an order for a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 All Seasons today while they were $100 off for a set of 4 at Discount Tire. My concerns are mostly to keep the PS4s summer tires from cracking during the upcoming below 20 degree weather here. I don't think I'll be taking the M2 out in any snow, but it might be nice to be able to take it out while it's freezing with no worries about grip in the dry.

I'm mounting mine to the stock wheels and I'll be looking for a set of summer wheels for the PS4s. I'm thinking something forged or rolled forged in gold or champagne possibly, but I'll have to see what I find.

Man I really don’t want to ever put all seasons on a performance vehicle but I can’t find 285/30/20 Performance Winters anywhere.
