I did get the driver's package. It was partly a point of pride. But I hope to have chances to find the car's limits down the line. I wish they were separate, but the price of the track day is included in the package, which I do plan to get a group down to Spartanburg for anyway. And the price for that is already $1550 if bought separately (though I do believe you can get a decent discount if you belong to the BMW club), so the $950 felt worth it while maintaining the warranty.
