My experience and outcome with these CF flaps was exactly the same as islandfalconer. I did not need to add any additional tape as there was no gap with the included fasteners. I am hyper OCD about my vehicle and this was the first modification I did after purchase. Very satisfing mod.

On a black car in think the farmer flaps blend in really well. I'm hesitant on my white car. Probably just PPF instead.

my tpg flaps just arrived. no instructions but seems pretty self explanatory.
i do have a question about which side is suppose to face say the rear. the fancy textured plastic i would assume should face not the wheel well but it doesn’t seem like they would install that way. can someone confirm which side the flaps should be facing the outside. |

Purchased the TLG guards from Kies. way over priced. they do serve the purpose but the front guards sit very low and if your are lowered you will hit them on every speed bump.
not sure why they are so low but i’m less than 2 inches off the ground. they seem to flex when i hit them and look fine still but it is pretty embarrassing can’t seem to be able to upload pics Quote:

I went with the ones from Megachip.
I think they look the most OEM for my tastes. https://megachipusa.com/products/bmw...-splash-guards |

IND carbon fiber ones installed on the front for me. Install was easy with the two rivets and I added some 3M tape but not sure how much the tape is doing honestly (I did not clean enough to get a good bond).

I have a new set in the mail now and I'm curious about this. Can you elaborate on the extra screw/washer and what happened with the 3M tape? Thanks in advance. |

I’ll take a pic of what I did. The front bottom kinda curls and unsticks from the side skirt. I just strategically placed a pilot hole into the side skirt, deep into the wheel well and it sucked it up nice n tight, along with straightening the curl.
