It's better than one would expect, because it still lets you blip the throttle on downshifts and only "assist" you if you need more revs to get to the next lower gear. I still turn it off for an all-out driving.

I think it works really well. Not perfect but does rev-match on most driving scenarios. You can always shut it off, I usually keep it on and enjoy it.
