I don't have ZB (or any G87 yet...) but I will say that ZB is worth it for its unique appearance alone. I don't know what it is about that color on this car, but it works. You get a lot of options for wheel color, too. Frozen gold is just SICK on this color. So is brushed silver. So is black. I think I saw a guy post pics with white wheels on here, even. That also looked pretty darned cool.
And adding tasteful CF or gloss black aero bits (splitter, side skirts, diffuser) - seriously looks good. You will stand out without really standing out, if you catch my drift. Such a unique, classy color - but it ain't radioactive lime green. I say, if you like it - pull that trigger or you will regret it.

So, I was putting something away in my trunk yesterday and a group of guys headed to the adjacent bar were walking by - didn't see me. Talking about the car, looks cool, etc. One of the guys comments "I really like the color but I don't know if I could drive it every day". Right then I'm closing the trunk and they notice me. My response - "You don't have to". The guys buddies thought that was hilarious and off they went to the bar.
Just a funny story, but like many unique colors, not everyone is going to like it and that is fine with me.

Never get tired at even looking at pictures of the M2 in ZB (or any other color).
Not to pile on but here's a pic of mine... |

I’ve ordered one with the dealer and production date is scheduled for 28th May. It’s going to be a long few months. Still pinch myself that I’m in a position to purchase a car like this. Makes all the work BS & challenges worthwhile! |

Got mine on April 8. 11,000 miles and going in for an oil change Saturday in preperation for a trip up to the smokey mountains.
The color is great and looks different with different light conditions. Get a lot of looks, nods, thumbs up, etc. As much as my '75 2002. Drive what makes you smile. |

It's funny how polarizing a color it is. People love it or hate it there doesn't seem like much meh to it. My much louder, faster and more modified last car got far less looks / attention than the ZB. Both good and bad I suppose lol.

I tell ya, when I first saw Voldemort Blue blue I was like 🤮but the color has grown on me over the past few months. I'm not usually one to have unusual car colors, but then again I came from a Cyber Orange ( which is more yellow than orange) Mustang.

Had my car 6 months now. Literally yesterday had someone pull up next to me and say he loved the car and specifically the colour!

Only ZB gets the non car enthusiast females attention, just facts.
If you want men dribbling on you and saying your car looks great get any other colour. I got ZB because my Porsche is Gulf Blue and they really are close. My only complaint is most G87’s in my region are ZB making it kinda common. |

When my 2020 m2c was totalled, my options at my local dealer (and actual friend) were a 2020 m2cs or their soon to be arriving HEA model 2023 m2. I immediately asked what color it was. "That blue", was his response, and "fuck", was mine. I literally thought in my head that I could get it wrapped if I absolutely hated it. The m2cs was alpine white, and $90k. A no from the get go for me. So I claimed it... and nervously waited for delivery.
I was stunned when I saw it in person. A mile down the road, driving toward me (to fill the tank), and I saw it instantly. A beautiful, different blue than any I'd seen. I usually have black, silver, or off white cars, so I was kinda taken aback. Then they pulled it in and parked it for me to go get. Less taken aback, still stunned. In the year I've had it (delivered 4/10/23), I have had more compliments on this car, and this paint than any of my other bimmers. All were modded and very pretty. 3 were m's. Do not get ZB if you're not comfortable with people stopping you at lights, taking pics, approaching you, chatting to you, or otherwise paying attention. Before the windows were tinted I felt like a fish in a bowl at a very busy aquarium. So yeah, I love it a lot. It's actually pretty amazing. Also. I would always have chosen black first. Extra attention or not.
