New to thread..great resource ..hope I can contribute meaningfully… but Same issue but didn’t buy from auction bought from a non-bmw dealer …please

Same issue, now I’m the Primary User but have two secondary users from previous owner stuck in app and on dashboard, and car is still stuck in valet mode.

kubax86 thanks again, really appreciate the offer.

With help from BMW I was able to FULLY resolve the issue. I will explain what I did and hopefully it helps someone else. The process was similar to others:
  1. Contacted BMW and had to provide proof of ownership
  2. Identified as Owner of vehicle and Primary User in MyBMW App ( but still could not remove the secondary users as r get pass the Valet Mode and PIN Lock)
  3. After A LOT of back-and-forth and few calls to BMW Genius and BMW Assist, BMW recommend led deleting MyBMW app are reinstalling (it didn’t work)
  4. It seems counterproductive but what you have to do is delete the vehicle from your ConnectedDrive account.
  5. After deleting from ConnectedDrive you’ll receive a prompt stating you and all secondary users have been deleted and the next time you start the car iDrive will reset.
  6. Recommend you erase all of the data and start fresh
  7. You can now set the car up and connect it to your MyBMW app
