I drive my manual, supercharged Z06 much differently than my auto M2. I'm lucky to get 10-12 mpg on the Z. Thankfully it's got a 18 g tank.

That’s not my fuel economy since factory lol…..that 13.9 when I last looked at it with 17000 miles. I just drove with cruise control one morning on my 40 mile one way commute to work just to see what it actually would get if I didn’t drive like an animal. Was more just for my own and anyone else’s curiosity. I’m assuming you like most people don’t just spend every moment in the car driving on the parkway with cruise control. So no don’t feel bad nobody is whomping on these things getting that economy. What got me interested in even trying it was because I was getting such terrible fuel economy that I started looking for another car for commuting but wanted to see how it would be if I drove normal. Still decided to buy an electric car in the end cause I’m racking miles up too fast. One month I spent over 600 dollars on fuel and I’ve come to the conclusion that I can’t drive this car like a normal human being even to work in the morning it’s just to tempting. That and the devaluation by putting all these work miles on it has a cost too. Gonna buy like a cheap used Tesla.

All used Tesla's are cheap
And really, you didn't know this going in? The advertised combined mileage (19mpg) of the M2 is not exactly good and the EPA always rates high.
