It was Friday morning. I was talking to the manager, whom I've known for a few years also my CA. I had them check on MPHAS and it was available in the system. He couldn't give me exact pricing until we were ready to configure. He only told me it was available in his system for 2025. He read off the list of carbon fiber stuff, etc. but I was only interested in the suspension. This so the same dealership that was able to get full individual leather ony i4 M50 when other dealers were telling people that individual was not available. Anyway, I'm waiting to hear if the other person in line is going to pass or get a car. I could have been "that guy" and got the allocation because they know I want a car, but karma is real so I'll wait to see if the other person wants the allocation. I'll know by Monday. If not this allocation, I know for sure the other is mine. The dealership has five deposits for the M2 CS that does not even exist.

I have mine on my order list.
MP Sports Suspension is now $3,155. Carbon Air Inlets are still $1,075. Alcantara Console lid is still $470.

The Carbon Grill was not listed in what my Client Advisor has as 2025 M Performance M2 options.

Thanks for replying anyway, and yeah most people suggest against it. Just considering all options that require as little 3rd party parts being applied to the car.

$3k for the MP HAS is a bit pricey, so I may look at other options and talk to the company that installed the Eibach stuff on my i4. I'll see what they say.

Yea that’s the big benefit. Full warranty. I’ve heard you have to stay at 10mm drop for the warranty but that may just be BS. It allows max 25mm front and 20mm rear.

Anything else won't likely be cheaper since labor at $200 an hour around here is the norm. So than $1500 suspension will still cost $3k

What sells me on port installed is even if I could get a suspension kit installed for a grand less, if I ever had a suspension warranty issue, I’d have to have the kit removed temporarily which would blow the investment to then be over what I would have paid for this port installed kit.
If I could get a kit and have it installed, removed, and put back on and all that was less than $3K then yea I’d prob go that route. |
