As is my SOP I do check/set/adjust if necessary the tire inflation pressures.

I only used the windshield washer system a time or two and the fluid level was barely down from full.

I saw no point in doing these services myself. Both the 1200 mile break in service and the 1 year (7200 miles) CBS service were free.
To add to this another thing you can do that the dealership service centers should be doing every time you take it in is double checking coolant levels and topping off if necessary. It was actually interesting that in the RIS maintenance video I watched on YT one of the expansion tanks was not to max fill and the tech said he was gonna top it off.

Freakin' drive the car. Break it in.

Buy is2000 brake pads and install them. Install all your aero and other goodies. Get your PPF and Ceramic handled. Install your interior bits. If the car needs an alignment, get your free alignment (before 2,000mi.)

It's just a car. Pre-1,200mi "maintenance" is nonsense.

As part of my process, I was planning to also figure out whether or not BMW loads these at factory with specific break-in oil. So I captured a sample to send for analysis out of curiosity.

Just received the report today so I will share. Take from it what you will, I have nothing to compare my analysis to; so if anyone has the knowledge/data of what the non-break in oil values typically look like feel free to chime in.

I'll be asking for dealership to provide me sample when they perform the 1,200 break-in service for analysis #2. I did not fill w/ genuine BMW oil, but instead filled with 5W-30 LiquiMoly - so it may not be apples to apples.

I will most likely change oil again at ~1,700 miles just to sample what the dealer filled for comparison's sake keeping in mind a constant of ~500 miles driven on oil samples analysis #1 & #3 when it happens.
