the level of IR shouldn’t affect the darkness but i think i does for some reason. i was comparing my Defender and my wife’s Range all at 20% and they are significantly lighter than my m2. more big windows but literally my 20% looks like 15%.

just be careful if you haven’t tinted yet and not looking for something that dark. i would say 20-25 is too dark

Interior color makes a difference especially with a non-tinted windshield letting more light in and reflecting it back off a light colored interior. You can usually go darker with a light interior.

25% Ceramic all around. 60% on the windshield

Anyone who tells you 20% or darker doesn't start to affect nighttime visibility is being dishonest
