Are you saying you are buying now from inventory or ordering now and hoping it gets here before any tariffs get applied?

I have had similar thoughts about ordering/buying now before the rumored tariffs might impact final 2 series delivered pricing.

My nearby dealer won't commit on "final" pricing but did say any ordered vehicle could be refused if it was hit by 25% tariffs prior to delivery. That's fair IMO.

Legal sides and back (35 total VLT)

Air80 on the windshield which is clear enough to not have issues in my experience

Factory ordering now and putting a down payment down. If I sign and put money down now, it can't be tariffed right? Since we've already legally agreed on a pre-tariff price?

No. They can change the price, or refuse to sell you the car.

I wouldn't expect a dealer to do that in normal times, but the tariffs will be excised upon arrival at port in the US. If they pay a tariff on the car, then it's pretty likely they will pass some or all of that cost on in the price.

My understanding is tariffs, if they are imposed, are assessed on the product when the goods come into the country. The contract you will sign if you order one will likely have language in it to let either party out of it if tariffs are imposed. The dealer isn’t going to sell you a car with a 25% tariff add on for the contract sales price of a non-tariff car. Similarly you are not going to be bound to purchase a car with a 25% add on tariff.

I guess my point is if you don’t want to chance it, and you truly want a new car, find an in stock or in transit vehicle and take possession of it before January 20th. You can search dealer inventory at www.cars.com to see if anything you like is in stock or in transit near you or you can search nationwide and a local dealer can try and get it for you.

Yesterday I test drove a 25 Skyscraper on Red xDrive. I was super impressed with the acceleration and handling. I like the interior but I don't like the lack of shift knob and lack of climate control physical buttons. I like the side profile of the car, but as most agree the rear is not attractive at all. This car desperately needs a trunk spoiler, spacers, and lowering springs. As for color, I decided that Skyscraper is too bland. I do like the red interior. At this time I'm leaning toward Brooklyn with Red. I saw Zandvort and while it's a nice color it's just a bit loud for my taste. I also saw Thundernight, I would grow out of it quickly. I believe Brooklyn would always look good and would also hide dirt well. Overall, I like the car and wow that B58 is impressive! I also thought the exhaust sounded good. I mostly drove in Sport+ mode. I honestly think I need to drive a Supra before making a final decision.

Did you see skyscraper? Imo Brooklyn is just another primer grey, skyscraper has much better character and shows the body lines.

The only part of the no physical climate control buttons that is cumbersome in daily use is the seats and steering wheel when you want to change the setting, but they mostly behave correctly on auto when you set the preferences correctly.

Set the fan and ac to auto, and just adjust the temp on the screen. Climate functions solved.
