This. I feel like anything done on our end would not resolve anything until they provide a fix on one of their service modules.
Edit: still blows my mind it can be broken this long, must have been an issue that is hard to replicate on their end or people just took off during holidays lol.

Has this started working for anyone?

Is anyone unaffected - your My Trips is working correctly?

Is the thinking that the car is still recording the data, but something has broken along the way between the car, the cloud, and / or our phones, such that whenever it gets fixed, the app will fill in? I just picked up my M2 a week ago, so I’ve never seen My Trips work.

Still broken, since Thanksgiving. Same behavior in the app, irrelevant of privacy settings in iDrive8/8.5

Still not functional since approximately Thanksgiving week. My report of it was "escalated" but I haven't heard anything from them in a few weeks.

I took delivery of my M2 on 12/23/24, so I’ve never seen My Trips in action. So, three questions:

1) When it’s working, what do I see? Is this a log of all drives, kept without me asking it to do so? What does it include? I assume it’s MPG and average speed, but what else? GPS-based locations (to/from)? I like the idea of a comprehensive log that the car records passively.

2) Is the data locked in My Trips, or is there a way to export it out into, say, Excel?

3) Is your assumption that the car is still capturing whatever it’s meant to record, but it’s just not making its way from the car up to the cloud and then back down to our phone? In other words, when they fix this, will drives we’ve been making during this outage appear?

I took delivery 12/4/24 and have also never seen it working. Wasn't sure what I was doing wrong and didn't care enough yet to look into it. This thread makes me feel better that I'm not the only one. Haha.

The month end review is an interesting read and it provides you with some stats with a pretty neat UI, below is the first month of my car trip review (break-in style driving) for your reference. Normally the dashboard provides with your trip mileage/mpg/time and some aggregation of your wareabounts.
The stats is not that accurate due to potential reason that some of our fellow M2 owner does not have this function enabled/logged.

I picked up my MY 2025 in October and My Trips worked until sometime in mid-November. I'm also getting the same "trouble loading" message as EMZWEI posted above. I recently contacted BMW and they emailed me the canned iDrive reset instructions which I followed and of course didn't work. Wish I had come here first to save the time and trouble.

Given what I'm reading here, BMW should be telling people the truth instead of implying it's a fault with our car or app settings. Kind of concerning that they're not.

It’s a lack of respect for their owners to drag us through pointless “troubleshooting.” Worse, my first ever email to the online “genius” was about two weeks ago, about this, and they haven’t done me the courtesy of a reply.
