Montego, Fedy, and Spec. Thanks for the replies. All good advice and I'm totally with you on all points as my family and I have always used one Brick and Mortar in town for everything. I have a great relationship with them and almost feel guilty looking online!

I would NEVER consider buying a multi-thousand dollar watch online. I guess I'm just trying to cut corners.

I might have to bite the bullet and go to my local jeweler. Or just bag the idea completely and get her some nice jewelery. I just want her to get the necessities.

Thanks for your help. I may seriously consider the Michelle watch. Seem nice enough.

Oh! Now if you want to talk jewelry, I'm your girl! lol

In all honesty, if she doesn't have or wear a watch, it may not be that important to her. But jewelry, now that's another story!

LOL, yea jewelry is endless. I've given my ex the david yurman and all that junk. Hate to give the same thing to different people, even though I like my current girl more than the last!

Michael Kors is not a watch maker, although my chick likes thier bags.

Never heard of Locman. Really just brainstorming Tag, Omega (if in budget), Tissot (not a big fan, but ok), Michelle (somewhat).

I fell like if I can't get her the Tag I want to get her, then its just going to have to wait.

I'm rocking my OMEGA Speedy today, great watch.
Don't think OMEGA is in the budget.

Why don't you kinda hint around to her about what she might like?

Maybe a watch is more what you wanna buy her than what she wants.

Like when Homer bought Marge a bowling ball,.

HAHA! I believe I can get an Omega Constellation for like $1,300. It's really how much a wanna spring for the thing. I can afford whatever, just not sure what would be wise.

I love the Seamaster BTW. It was between that and my Tag chrono back in the day. I think I'm also due for a new watch, but trying to put some money together for an apt, etc. Not like I need more than two watches at 26yrs old but they're just so damn fun!

Michael Kors watches are not that great bro.

Coach watches are very good and reasonably priced, movado actually designs them if I am not mistaken.

I know you said you are not looking to spend too much, but I'd def look into getting her a Michelle watch. Those are pretty big nowadays with the ladies.

lol...if money is no prob.....ya gotta hook her up with the Rolex wit the ice bezel! hahaha just j/k man.

My wife has this one, just timeless, value and excellent quality(my father is a watchmaker)

Here wrists are rather small and she didn't like to wear my (now ex) Sub Date at some occasions, though I find it sexy to see women wear big IWC Portugiesers, Daytonas and other macho watches, though my current DeepSea is too clunky for a woman's wrist....

That aquaracer with grey face, i got it for my GF a few months ago.

Its a great watch, that goes with anything and durable.

I would check the tag outlets, they have great sales and are authorized dealer.

That watch was 650 + tax in May.
