Movie of the year hands down.

So many people will do exactly what you did. They will read the reviews and the comments that people have made and go see it. That is why I keep saying it is not just a movie but an experience. With your ticket to the movie you get a free trip to Pandora.

honestly apart from a slightly bigger screen in imax, i can't tell the damn different. digital 3d is fine as long as you don't sit at the last row.

This is very funny considering how much you were bashing the movie a few days ago... I am glad you took a chance and saw it.

Not really, I just said it looked gay.....which you've got to admit, does kind of if you just watch the previews. I knew it would be some cool special effect movie, but had no idea what to expect. They've been showing previews forever, but not in a way where you get psyched up and have ridiculous expectations *cough War of the Worlds *cough. They really did downplay the film with the trailers. You've really got to see this in IMAX 3D. Regular 3D was amazing, but I can't even imagine. Incredible film, and I'll keep saying it.

I just saw it tonight in IMAX 3D. I thought it was great!! Not once did I stop and think that it was unreal. Everything was so realistic it was ridiculous. Fantastic movie!!
Nah- it's actually pretty cheap. If you look up tickets at AMC they're like $14 a person or so ($2 more if you buy online). |

I'm kind of pissed it was so much better than I was expecting (argued with a friend who saw it that I wouldn't see it because I knew "just by watching the asstacular trailers" that it was gonna be shit. I was so wrong).
The movie is actually really damn good. I'd see it again.
