I have been following the 3er since the early days of the E46 (pre-facelift).
The ZHP made me love it, and once I saw the first E90 out, I was sold. My E90 was my first BMW, and now my E92 my second. I plan on keeping my E92 until the day it dies. |

It's kinda F40-esque. Love it

love the 8's, very rare car indeed
Have only seen a few on the road ever even living in a metropolitan city like ATL What I found shocking was that select luxury. www.selectluxury.com in my area has 2 8's for sale in their inventory. 1991 850i - white 96k http://www.selectluxury.com/web/1972...rietta-Georgia AND 1994 850 - black 106k http://www.selectluxury.com/web/1972...rietta-Georgia even after all these years the interior still looks stunning to me |

is it me, or does the koenig kit give the rear quarter an f40-style look, esp with the side scoop and the wing?

The M8 prototype still exists but is currentley a non-runner.
BMWCar magazine in the UK did a piece on it last month including new photography and a full explanation of the car. |

Used to love those! I was close to getting an 840 at some point. Never panned out.

"Fireball" M8
Way back when maybe '90/91 my father got a great looking silver 850i. It had good power, a bit heavy.
Check out this M8 that never made it to production: Article is here: http://blog.caranddriver.com/bmws-m-...ren%E2%80%99t/ All about it from the most reliable source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_8_Series_(E31)#850i
