Yeah I have a Blackberry Tour now, and I really like it (mine is with the Simply Everything plan, which really shits on most, if not all, data/minute packages on the market right now). Sprint really knows how to get the most out of their smartphones with their plans. I was just waiting for an Android phone that could keep up with/technically surpass the iPhone with a better plan/insurance, and the HTC Evo 4G seems about right. We'll see.

You couldn't jailbreak the iphone for use on vzw anyway since it's not compatible with cdma.

I've had my droid since october and love it (loathe it for wanting to mess with it too much). Glad to finally have a phone that weighs something and i never thought i would, but i love the qwerty.

Is the new iphone software going to allow the use of person background images finally?(not talking about the lock screen) I'd hate to have to look at rows and rows of icons as opposed to a less cluttered screen like you can on the droid.

It will never happen, Apple and Verizon are completely two different companies and Verizon will never give up the control they have with their other suppliers of cell phones and the customer.

i disagree, apple isnt bringing the iphone TO verizon, they are just building a verizon version to sell

Ah, I figured it couldn't be done for Verizon. I was wondering about that, as to why there weren't more Verizon users with iPhones

They haven't allowed a background for your home screen because it would present too much clutter, since those icons look like a rainbow already.
