Actually, since they are claiming only 4.9 0-60 and the 335i already is in that territory, we can assume the M3 will be quicker.
You're assuming that Lexus doesn't underrate the 0-60 times like BMW does. Then again, I remember when the IS300 came out, Toyota stated its 0-60 was 6.4 or something like that and the best that most magazines could do was in the 7s. I guess we'll have to see when both the IS-F and the M3 are released.

Should M3 fans worry?

Introducing the Lexus IS-F, V8, 400HP, 350lb-ft of torque - also plans for a coupe.

It's a fugly mf'er but probably fast and fun to drive. Is it really going to have those stacked exhaust pipes?

the shape doesn't flow-- a bulge on the hood and a flat line that leads to the back. looks a little weird to me. the front looks a little exaggerated with the vent. looks like they're trying too hard.

That's really hideous, look at the quad exhaust and that bodykit.

M3 fans shouldn't have to worry IMO

Did someone say Beluga?

Although I like the sea mammal; Not sure I'd want my car to look like one.

I like what Lexus is trying to do, but I don't like that it's available only in AT. The rear pipe arrangement looks cheesy, as in typical Japan-eesey. Interior is A++. I never did like the squinty tail lights in the back. I prefer the Camry Hybrid's tail over that.

Very Ugly IMO...GOD I HATE LEXUS. Lexpiss can't ever come up with anything original..the only reason the company is even around is because people in America are too easily pleased...worried more about luxury and less about performance. Outside of the US Lexpiss automobiles are looked down upon very harshly. Now if superficial, ignorant, misinformed Americans could see the forest for the trees maybe we could rid the world of this over priced Toyota. Lexpiss copies everything, they're never original. They are very unashamed in their bangle-esque designs. A styling tangent that they and every other jap company sneered at in the beginning.

Its a credible effort on the part of Toyota...but there is more to a car than numbers and spec sheets. The patented tactility of the BMW has yet to be replicated/equaled. At the end of the day the signature fludity and composure of the M3 should prevail. On the other hand, Mercedes AMG C-class customers might defect though...

It's nice to know, that some know how to RICE a car from the Factory.

Let's see where did they get their inspiration?
-Beluga, crossed with a Shark (Side) and the rear ... I'm still thinking

you guys are haters, i think it is a sick ride, and if it comes in a coupe, im pretty sure you'll be drooling all over it. I use to have a 2002 gs300, loved the way it looked but performance wise, it cannot compete with my new 335i. However, luxury wise, the 335i cannont compete with my old GS. The interior of my gs 300 with navi makes my 335i look like a civic.

Oh Yeah,

That's it, we are hater

http://macnugget.org/stuff/Rice-Goggles.gif

We simply know how to appreciate good design and quality. Just as when BMW Bungled the 7 Series ... Now they've refined it a bit.

The Lexus IS-F --> "F" is for FUGLY!

It's not just because something comes from Japan that we won't like it; just as a lot of people here find the new GT-R from Nissan (Japanese) bad ass & looks good Pics below.

The Beluga front hoodline is fine. Just wish they'd do something different with the rear end--make it more substantial looking like the GS.

I would get it if it comes in a coupe. They did very well in the interior but it sounds slow. 4.9 seconds, isn't that what the 335i coupe does?
