maybe the guy missed a gear.. it happens... regardless i once bumped into an Evo IX? (the one with a row of fins on the back roof). Guy had all these gauges on his a piller and he was revving like there's no tomorrow.. I just ignored him and went about my way. He took off but I found him next to me again stuck in traffic few minutes later. Lamer.

When I had my G Coupe and before I knew "what" they were, I learnt the hard way how fast those Evo's are

i can respect them for waht they are, aka performance machines, but i feel like people who buy them usually are younger, in their 20's, and in a "phase" of their life where they dont care about anything but performance. after a while that harsh ride gets really annoying and tiresome on your back, especially on long drives. which is why bmw will always be regarded as the most well balanced car, it combines performance with luxury with practicality. the evo basically just has performance. which is why it's so cheap.

I think if just talking about performance Evo is a better car its just an amazing car totally different from a 335i. Most people talk down on the Evo and I don't know why. I loved the Evo and its my favourite rally car of all time. It has such an impressive history and achievements. But i have to agree with person above me, the Evo 5 I have in H.K has very harsh ride. I would not like to spend a lot of daily drives in it. Also, the Evo does not need to combine performance with luxury. It was never the aim of that car. The aim of Evo was to help Mitsubishi win in rally. The only reason Evo were sold (Evo1-6) was for homologation only. They basically sell the car just so they can race. If I have a chance, I would definitly get a Evo 9 Final 4g63 Edition when I go back to H.K. as a second car.
