The only way to get rid of it faster is to use a medication with a mild steroid. Preferably, a combination drop like Zylet or Tobradex works very well, but will still take a couple of days.

True story, a college kid came in to our clinic one day complaining of bad link eye that was not getting any better from one of the eye doctors in town. The attending doctor took samples and sent it to pathology. It came back as CHLAMYDIA. Dont know how he told the parents that he got that shit in his eye.

I think I figured it out. I have 2 cats, one is a kitten.

She doesn't clean her butt all the way every time and I did wake up to see a shit stain next to me yesterday (she sleeps next to my face every night, yay...) I changed my sheets yesterday but I'm sure it came from the night before....now that I narrowed it down to this and it's a bacteria infection, whats the quickest remedy? The stuff the doc gave me said it would take days to clean up...I need that insta cure for sure.

You live close enough that you can go whenever. Just put off the trip. You don't want that shit to spread to your friends or whoever else, and it probably wouldn't aid your recovery to go to Vegas and go batshit. So, stay home.

IMO of course. I'm not a doctor or therapist, so what I say shouldn't really count anyway.

Go see the hookers in Vegas. I would bet any amount of money they have antibiotic drops. I mean, how many times do they get squirted in the eye and have to treat it....10,20,30 times per day?
You might have to pay extra to get their bottle though.

P.S. Check for blue waffle first

Pink eye is a very general term. It could be one of MANY infections. Does it just itch or is it painful? Is your sight effected at all? Do you have any allergies? Is it just the white part of your eye that now red or is it also the inside of your lids?

Take a regular digital camera and put it in macro mode and take more pictures.

I woke up about 5am to my eye burning and feeling like I had something stuck in it. I went to the bathroom, tried washing it out, checked out my eyes and it looked like I had a bubble in my eye. The water did not help... I used a towel, took some sticky yellowish substance out of my eye....Keep wanting to itch it so the only thing I could do was go back to bed so I didn't have to think about it. Woke up, it didn't hurt or itch anymore but my eye was deep red and my eyelids where swollen and droopy like I was unbelievably stoned.

I picked up some Pink Eye relief at the store not to long ago and my eye is looking better and isn't bothering me. What other infections could it be? I have no allergies (that I know of) and I am positive my cat droped off a present the night before next to me...that about sums everything up I can think of.

Oh yeah, at first my sight was a bit blurry, but after I woke up the 2nd time, I have been seeing fine.

There are many things that it could be. Anything from cat scratch fever to gonorrhea. Its difficult to tell without an actual exam. I would honestly go to an optometrist just for a quick check to make sure it isn't anything more than a simple infection. Viral infections generally dissipate on their own. If you have any corneal involvement or you need to go to a doctor immediately, as you could go from seeing to optically blind in under 24hours from certain infections. From the looks of the extremely blurry picture you also may have a subconjunctival hemorrhage as its a bit more red than just simple injection. But again its hard to see from the photo. Look in the mirror and shine some light at your eye. Make sure your cornea is 100% clear. Any cloudiness, and go to a doctor immediately. Check your lymph nodes just in front of your ears for swelling and tenderness.

Cornea looks normal, compared to my other eye. No cloudiness that I can see. The picture I posted was a random from the internet, not actually me. Mine is not THAT red, but more of a stoned red with vessels and still whiteness and had a bubble. It has gotten A LOT better since this morning to be honest as I have been washing it and keeping my hands clean. Also this pink eye relief from the store looks to be helping the symptoms. I'm gonna wait a day to see if it just clears up or gets worse...but it looks to be getting better pretty damn quick!

Sounds like its just some bacterial or viral infxn. If that picture was you I'd recommend immediate medical treatment. If its starting to clear up theres a could chance it could even just be a seasonal allergy but its rare in one eye. Whats the active ingredient in what you bought? Most likely an antihistamine (stop itching) or a alpha-agonist to constrict the vessels. You could just leave it, let your immune system do its job.

That should be fine. Similasian makes quality products.

Make sure you do not touch the dropper to your eye as you can re-infect your self.

Would be just my luck to get it in my other eye today or tomorrow.

Thanks for the info though, I'm going to LIVE!
