I though the same, but it's his friend driving him around so it's plausible. The women gullible/stupid enough and are going crazy once they hear someone was in a movie will also hear the word BMW of see it and think the person is loaded.

Did this in San Antonio one night at a club. Actually a few times, but we would switch off who was the celebrity (and switch clubs of course)... We were all pretty big dudes, so it was easy to swap turns as body guard. I was "Adam Springfield (middle name + street I grew up on)" and we walked straight to the front of the line of this big club, me dressed like a douche (Affliction) and my three friends in suits. My buddy walks right up to the door man, and whispers "I hope the VIP has room tonight" in his ear. That was absolutely all he said. Doors open, and we are escorted straight up stairs to the VIP. Word gets around that Adam Springfield is in the VIP, and no one even knows who the fuck it is. Chicks galore, bottles galore, and we paid for NOTHING. At the time I was big into Hennessy, so that's pretty much all I was drinking, but there was champagne and the whole works. Needless to say, the night ended well, and San Antonio has plenty to choose from. LOL

I plan to do this again over the summer here in Germany. It won't be hard, and I will have video for sure this time.

Edit: I have another story like this, that I may type out tomorrow, except this one was real celeb status as I spent the day as part of DMX's crew (the rapper). Auto signing, to sound check, to the concert, to the after party, to the after AFTER party. Amazing night.

Actually a really easy prank to pull off since everyone is terrified to say that they don't recognize you to your face, or in front of other people. They'll go with it rather than risk offending you. The hilarious thing is that every single one of those girls was racking their brain trying to figure out who he was, where from, why famous, how they don't know who he is, etc. but none conferred between themselves about it for fear of being wrong. Groupthink is a nightmare.
