A5 competes with the 328

S5 competes with the 335i

RS4 will probably compete with the upcoming M4 (for now, it'll have to settle for the 335is).

RS5 competes with the M3.

Allroad vs X1

Q5 vs X3

Q7 vs X5

A8 group vs 7 Series

R8 vs upcoming i8

TT RS vs 1 Series M

^ Wouldn't the RS4 compete with the M3 sedan and the RS5 compete with the upcoming M4 coupe?

And the S5's competition is more the 335is performance and price wise. Not the 335i. But the S4 competes with the 335i sedan

The arches look more pronounced in real life, the picture posted is slightly unflattering in regards to that.

They're great looking machines and the growl out of the sport exhaust is incredible. The only problem is their weight. They are heavier than an M3 and a C63 AMG. The Quattro system gets the car moving hard but it takes a little to move all the heft.

Nevertheless, the car is definetly a looker and it has great potential right off the bat.

RS5 looks good. Wheels do not. I'd like to see some type of spoiler. Not a wing, a spoiler.

LOL @ the Smart Car. Do not want.

I always thought the RS5 was a kind of 'middle ground' competitor against M3 and C63. C63 has the power/loud/shouty-ness about it, M3 has the finesse but the RS5 sort of has neither.. Personally I like loud and shouty so I got a C63 haha

The RS5 is kinda a combo of both the M3 and C63. Actually revs higher than the M3 and has the hp of the C63. With the benefit of the awd to get the power down. RS5 does have a more premium feel to it inside and out. I understand the slightly higher price for the RS5.

It pops up at a certain speed and there's a button that will keep it up. My buddy has his up all the time.
