LOL. Almost one different car for each day of the week.
Getting a used Porsche is not a good idea unless you know a good local Porsche mechanic who can give you a good deal on parts and labour. You are now entering the world of expensive upkeep. Most likely any "affordable" Porsche has been put through its paces and will need significant maintenance to keep it performing (i.e. $$$ brake job) |

get a beater and wait for a 135i...
or get a 335i def worth the money But if you want something fast and handles like all hell the Z4M beats the Cayman S. Before I bought the Z4M I test drove both back to back for like every other day because I couldnt make up my mind. I feel like both are for 2 different people. The cayman doesnt come alive until higher RPMs but its so smooth you cant feel that punch. Cayman is more of like a precision tool. Handles very well but I would give the Fun factor to the M. I do not like the look of the back end of the Cayman. Front and side is very nice tho. There are not many Z4M's out there and it def turns heads. The Z4M is more of a Raw car. "Toss me into a corner and hang on" it packs that punch down low and keeps pulling... You can get some big discounts on the M's right now too. Also worth every penny. I have 47K miles in one year on my M and I still love every minute driving it. Good luck.

Cayman S CPO'd FTMFW !!!!
Should be right in your ballpark, an leagues ahead of both SLK and TT IMHO.. Best bet is to go out an drive all of them back to back if you can.. or just take my word for it, Cayman S if a bad mutherfawker... and then maybe put a supercharger on it in a year or so once you get used to the power, and you've got yourself a 911 Turbo contender. That's what I would do if I that kinda money right now, and didn't need the practicality of a sedan.. |
