I have a few of these as well. I bought them in hopes that they would stretch but they didn't. They are just too narrow for my feet. That's what i love about the ECCO shoes. They forefoot area in all their shoes are built larger so your toes can move naturally when walking.

My toes can't move in my Cole Haans. I've worn them at least 20 times and they still haven't stretched. Even put them on a stretcher for a week. I still wear them, but they just aren't as comfortable as my other shoes.

My wife on the other hand.... she must have 20 pairs of Cole Haan Nike Air shoes. Swears by them.

For casual, I wear these Aldo Leibers. They are some of the most comfortable shoes I have worn.

I wear flip flops like 90% of the time on weekends but...

on casual fridays with pants/cords:

on a boat or with shorts or if I know I will do a shitload of walking. Wore these for a week walking around Rome and had no issues - SUPER comfortable:

I usually wear Creative Recreation Cesario Lo.

Just bought Nike Roshe Run. Recommended by a friend. They are super comfortable and light that it feels like you aren't even wearing shoes.

My guess is that you’ve never owned a pair of Allen Edmonds. All my J&Ms, Cold Haans, and Eccos are collecting dust in my closet now. It may seem like a lot of money, but they go on sale once in a while and they'll last you much longer than cheaper shoes.

I’m a bit of a shoe whore, but here are most of my dress shoes:

EDIT- Someone mentioned John Lobb's which are badass shoes, but they're a bit out of my price range so I can't say I've owned a pair.

Haha I've not worn their Oxfords just loafers and drivers and a really comfortable pair of slides that I picked up like 5 years ago. The shoes are comfortable but definitely not that best in comfort or construction.

LOL wait what? He said they aren't made that well and aren't the most comfortable in the world, yet you're considering spending ~$400 on a pair? Or did I misunderstand something?

I'll happily spend good money (to me) on a pair of shoes, but they better fit damn good and be built to last.

Yep, I gave up on J&M and Cole Haan, neither seem to be able to resole at anywhere near original quality. Allen Edmonds have been great, I'll probably try a pair of their shell cordovans next.

I wear Sanuk flip flops for casual use.

LOL, I have three actually. Usually, there are only a few pairs by the door and the rest are in shoe boxes. That was obviously taken just for show.

The joys of having a small overpriced downtown apartment means giving up a lot of space. I used to have an entire 3bed/2bath/2car garage all to myself. Not so much anymore.

They are awesome! They are on sale now for $90 off now.

I also wear these Sperry's a lot too. The leather on them is so soft and they are really comfortable and you don't need to break them in.
