The car looks like it's ready to pounce when viewed from the front 3/4 in real life. It not only looks good on the outside, but the interior design is also (at the very least) up to par with many German competitors. My only beef with it when I sat in it was that the buttons felt a little so-so. I was playing with one on the highway, nothing serious, just some spirited driving. The guy was cool about it. I was staring at the front in my rear view mirror. Very sharp indeed.
I think the OP's views are a little extreme. This Caddy is different from the hunk o' junk of the past. I think it's a sign of Caddy not screwing around anymore. Good for them.

The transformation between the two generations could be compared to the design transformation of the outgoing 7 series, from way back in 2002 when it was an ugly duckling (still is), to the much, much better looking facelifted version that's on the road now.

Yes, the CTS is a dog compared to the 335i. That is what happens when the vehicle weighs 4000 lb. and being the size of the 5 series. C&D got the DI CTS 0-60 in 5.8 so it is a sub-6 second car. Last edited by quagmire; 11-28-2007 at 12:27 PM.. |
